TRAINEE AGREEMENT

called hereinafter as
“RAM Universal”

The Student is freely willing to have a practical training course as a (position applied for , on site at a Hotel in Greece,

from (day & month) 201__, through (day & month) 201__.

The Student declares that he/she speaks the languages

, , good enough to converse “fluently” in these languages.

RAM Universal shall pay the Student a total amount of      €

This payment shall be made around the 15th. day of the following month, for the entire period of his/her training.

RAM Universal shall provide the Student with accommodation (room - shared by other participants) and 3 daily meals, for the entire length of the training.

RAM Universal shall either pay the student Euro 120,- for the homeward flight if he/she has a return ticket, or shall pay the student Euro 120,- in cash and shall guide the students from where he/she can purchase the homeward ticket at the end of the contract.

The student has to sign the 3 party contract which qualifies him/her to be insured by RAM Universal. This insurance shall have a limited coverage for the student’s medicals in case of an accidental injury at work.

The procedure for reclaiming the medical expenses in such cases, is as follows:-

The injured person must get medical attention from the Hotel doctor if the services are rendered free of charge to the hotel staff.
If recommended by the hotel doctor to visit the hospital, or incase of any other medical services required, to reclaim your medical expenses, the student should first get a diagnosis from the “Hospital” and a receipt for any bills that the student may pay for the treatment.
The medical insurance covers the student for a reimbursement of up to € 450,- for medical treatment, in case of any work related injury.
In case the student is absent from work, there shall only be a reimbursement for the medical expenses, but no compensation for the salary during the sick leave.
The reimbursement from the Insurance company shall take place between 30 & 185 days from the submission of the reports and invoices and claims report.

The student’s practice time shall be shall be either

8 hours per day, 7 days a week, or
9 hours per day 6 days a week, as per the hotel’s requirements.
Students training as animators shall have a seminar of 2 weeks, before they are placed to practice in a hotel, 6 days a week with flexible hours.

It is up to the Hotel of assignment to decide which shift the student shall have, and the day of the week when the student shall have off.

Practice time done above the normal hours as in clause 7 above, shall be paid in cash to the student, calculated at the end of each calendar month, accumulating the hours that shall be adjusted into working days (8 hours = one working day).

It is mandatory for the student to bring with him :-

2 White shirts
1 black trousers for men and 1 black skirt for women.
1 pair of flat black shoes
1 pair of formal shoes (closed)
A Police Clearance. (Certificate of good conduct)

If the Student misbehaves, or disobeys RAM Universal’s or the Hotel's regulations, this contract shall be considered terminated as of immediate effect and a fine of € 500 shall be imposed on the student.

The Student agrees that if he/she wishes to terminate this contract due to any reason, RAM Universal withholds the right to confirm the nature of the termination, and RAM Universal shall finally decide if this contract may be terminated or not. The Student shall continue to practice as usual, until a replacement for him/her is provided. In this case, the Student agrees to reimburse RAM Universal for any expenses RAM Universal may undergo to replace the student and to pay for his/her own insurance & transportation back home. A violation of this clause shall result in a € 500,- fine.

The student agrees that it is forbidden to ride any mode of 2 wheels motorised transportation for the duration of this contract. It is also agreed by the student that in case of an accident, he/she shall not be covered by any insurance and his contract may be terminated immediately if RAM Universal wishes to do so. A violation of this clause may have the same consequences as clause 10 above.

The Student agrees that this contract shall automatically be considered terminated, if the collaborating Holiday Resort terminates its contract with RAM Universal due to unforeseen circumstances.

This contract is based upon the Greek law, and if there is any disagreement between the two parties concerning the signed contract, the parties will apply to the courts in Greece.
