Rules and Regulations

RAM Universal welcomes you to the World of Entertainment.
We wish you an enjoyable stay in our Seminar and Hotels of collaboration.

In order to work together and maintain a satisfactory working environment you should take into consideration the following aspects. Please read them carefully, memorize them and sign at the bottom of the pages.

  1. At all times.
    W within the Hotel premises you have to be dressed in smart casual clothes and be well groomed.
    •  Take care of your clothing in the evening, no sports shoes, no broken jeans.
    •  Piercings are not allowed, we prefer you do not wear them on any visible parts of the body. (Especially Children Animators - as it is too dangerous for children).
    •  Cover all visible tattoos.
  2. Hygiene Rules.
    •  Shaving is a must for men and women (men every day).
    •  If you have long hair, it should be kept tidy.
    •  It is obvious but we remind you any way:-
    •  think about nice breath,
    •  brush your teeth enough
    •  wash your hands after visiting the toilet.
    •  Don't smell !
  3. •  Use deodorant
    •  change your clothes a number of times per day if necessary.
    •  Shower before and after entering the pool.
  4. General Bar, Restaurant and Break Rules.
    •  Never ever drink from a bottle ! Always use a glass or a straw.
    •  Don't eat chewing gum while animating guests, moderating or in the restaurant.
    •  Never touch food from the buffet with your hands. Don't eat anything directly from the buffet, put it on your plate first and sit at a table before putting it in your mouth.
    •  When you are having your meals you are supposed to be with the gusts for public relations, don't gather at one table.
    •  You will have your breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant, or with the Hotel staff.
  5. Accommodation.
    •  Your responsibility is to maintain the best possible standards of cleanliness and keep your personal belongings tidy.
    •  Clean your room or apartment. Maintenance is a must; leave the room in the condition in which you found it. (Which should be good!)
    •  Regarding your rooms, you are fully responsible for damages caused by carelessness.
    •  Broken material should be paid for or replaced by the entertainer living in the room or apartment.
    •  Do not turn the music or television up very loud as it may annoy neighboring guests or entertainers. This is especially important after midnight , keep the room very quiet.
    •  When you enter the room areas late at night do not shout or scream as people may be sleeping. Respect your neighbors.
    •  Do not forget to turn off water and electric appliances and lights before you leave the room.
  6. General rules for the course and the rest of the season.
  7. •  An entertainer always smiles, says hello / good morning, afternoon or evening to the hotel guests and members of the hotel staff. (always in Greek if you are unsure of their nationality)
    •  An entertainer always has to be happy, social, helpful and polite.
    •  An entertainer never argues with or in front of a client.
    •  We never talk badly of our hotel, other hotels or other persons.
    •  We never discuss our personal problems or team problems with the clients.
    •  Never ask for money, cigarettes or drinks from the guests or other staff.
    •  Entertainers that do not respect the rules of the hotel and do not follow the orders of their chief will be removed from the hotel.
    •  It is strictly forbidden to take your mobile phone to activities or use them during working hours. Leave them in your rooms or apartments.
    •  If you have an illness or injury, interaction with hotel guests is not allowed.
    •  If you become unwell or injure yourself, inform your chief as soon as possible.
    •  If you face a problem with client(s) and you do not know what to answer or they seem angry, call your supervisor and let them handle the situation. Never promise the guests anything, even if you have the consent of your supervisor.
    •  If an entertainer is found to be taking or dealing drugs, the police will be informed immediately, and they will be dismissed from the company.
    •  Each entertainer is obliged to have excellent communication skills and mix well with people of all nationalities.
    •  Every entertainer is responsible for a good relationship with the rest of the team.
    •  Do not forget that this is a place for work and not for holidays.
    •  Entertainers must be in time for all activities, night programs and meetings. You must turn up 15 minutes in advance.
    •  If you are late there will be disciplinary action.
    •  Smoking during work and behind the stage in not allowed. At no time can you smoke in the mini club.
    •  Uniforms must be worn throughout the day even during break hours. The only exception is on your days off.
    •  Every entertainer should be in possession of black trousers, black shoes, a white shirt and sport shoes. The equivalent is needed for women. Everybody must wear a watch.
    •  Remember you are here for work and not for a vacation.
  8. Activities.
  9. •  Always be on time for an activity, which means at least 15 minutes before it starts.
    •  Organize activities the best way possible for ease of your participants.
    •  Ensure that activities are carried out safely for the clients wherever the location.
    •  During activities do not sit down, wear sunglasses or eat chewing gum.
    •  It is forbidden to smoke during rehearsals, activities and whilst participating in public relations.
    •  If something goes wrong or something unusual occurs during an activity report it immediately to your chief.
    •  Participate in public relations before, during and after an activity.
    •  If, during an activity you sweat a lot, shower and change your clothes after it.
    •  Do not use the hotel towels for gymnastics, or to clean anything in your room.
    •  Never force or pull a guest to participate in an activity. Ask them politely after saying good morning, afternoon, evening.
    •  Children entertainers:
    •  Do not allow children under the age of 4 into the mini club without the permission and company of their guardian or parent.
    •  Always ask daily the name, age and room number of every child in the mini club and write it in the mini club book.
  10. Backstage and Technical areas.
    •  Keep the backstage and technical cabin clean and tidy.
    •  It is forbidden to smoke, eat or drink in the technical area.
    •  If not in use keep the backstage and technical areas locked.
    •  After daytime activities ensure that you have all that you will need for the evening entertainment. (CD's, special equipment etc.)
    •  Respect the equipment it will be used again in future seasons.
    •  Clean your make-up straight after each show and keep the costumes tidy and handle them with care.
    •  Under no circumstances should you ever take any equipment off hotel premises.
    •  Always turn light and sound systems off at the hour set by the hotel director.
    •  Be careful using the microphone.
    •  Do not enter the technical area if you are wet.
    •  Do not put technical equipment near water! Do not enter the technical cabin without shoes on.
